£10,000 Raised in 7 Days For Our Black Key Workers

Hey BYP Network,
Last week, we shared that we'd created the BYP Network Fund: a £10,000 fund for black workers risking their lives to work due to financial insecurities. We explained that this fund would go towards supporting key workers in the black community, whether immunocompromised, chronically ill, asthmatic, elderly or posing a risk to others within their household.
We are ecstatic today to share that we have hit our £10,000 target in seven days. We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support, both through donations and messages, from our community and we would like to take this moment to thank all of you. Please continue to donate and share here.

We want to continue to raise money through this fund and to carry on providing relief to those affected in our community so we'll also be hosting a webinar on the 30th April. In 5 Steps To Launching And Growing Your Online Business, our founder and CEO, Kike Oniwinde, will be sharing all her learnings in a virtual workshop, with all proceeds going to the BYP Network Fund. If you have previously donated to our fund, you will automatically receive an email invite to attend, and anyone who cannot afford to donate can still attend the webinar for free.
For those of you who are wondering how our BYP fund will help those in need, we will be providing two relief options: £250 to cover food, bills and other necessities, and £500 to cover larger costs such as rent payments. All who are eligible can apply on our job board. If you are in need of temporary financial relief, apply here.

Together, we will survive this.
